Collection of three type “beirette SL 100 N” photographic cameras (7.0 x 11.5 x 4.0 cm) for ORWO SL film cassettes. The cameras have the same construction based on a black plastic casing with a coloured front shutter in bright colours and other elements, such as the lens, shutter with various exposure times, adjustable lens and release. A small dial was used to move the film forward. The films for 24 photographs could be replaced quickly and simply, while always making sure that the film was not exposed to too much light. The small format and affordable price of 22.50 Marks made it especially suitable for beginners, travellers and hobby photographers. The cameras were produced at VEB Carl Zeiss Jena – a factory complex for photo technology.
